March Events at the Harbor

Image resultWednesday nights at 6:45 – Bible Study
This is not a special event for this month, but just a reminder that every Wednesday night from 6:45-7:45 we have Bible study back on the dock (the back room of the Harbor). We would love to have you join us, no matter how much or how little you know or understand about the Bible. Our goal is to read the story and talk about what it means – questions are encouraged.

Friday, March 16 – Sober St Patrick’s Day Celebration (5 – 12pm)
Get dressed in as much green – fluorescent and otherwise – as you can find and come out and come celebrate a sober St Patrick’s day with us at the Harbor – Make sure you order our version of a shamrock shake available at the bar.

Friday, March 23rd – Paint Night @ 7:00 pm
Grab your aprons and paint brushes and come get your Bob Ross on at the Harbor. We’re having another paint night, and will be guided through painting a jar full of daisies by the instructor. Cost will be $40, and you can register at the Harbor or by contacting Pastor Melissa.

Wednesday, March 28th – Tenebrae Service 6:30
On Wednesday April 12, we will be having our Holy Week Tenebrae service. We will take this time and reflect upon the sacrifice that Jesus made for us on the cross. The word “Tenebrae” comes from the Latin word for “shadows” which is appropriate as we will be sitting in the shadow of the cross.

Sunday, April 1st – Easter Services and picnic
This is in April, but since it falls on the 1st, we’re including it here – we want to invite you to come and join us for our Easter morning worship service, celebrating Jesus’ resurrection, and then invite you to join us for our special easter edition of Family Table – a picnic outside in back of the Harbor. Stay tuned for more info, but make plans to be there with us to celebrate!
