May 31 – Lip Sync Night 7-8pm
We’ve done Karaoke before, but what if you can’t sing? Well have we got an event for you! Come out and put on your best lip sync show! You’ve got plenty of time to pick your songs, your costumes, and whatever else you want to throw together to make yours the most memorable of the evening. See you there!
Friday, June 14th – Euchre Tournament
Come out to the Harbor and join us for a fun night of playing Euchre as we have another Euchre tournament. Don’t have a partner? no problem, we’ll be partnering people up for different games and coming up with an individual winner when the games are all done. And what will they win? Bragging rights of course!
Friday, June 28 – Murder Mystery Dinner: “Murder at the Sober Saloon”
Support the Harbor and have a blast at the same time at this night of mystery and fun for only $25.00 per ticket which includes dinner! This year we are going with a western theme – “Murder at the Sober Saloon”! Please mail your check to The Harbor, P.O. Box 625, Shippensburg, PA 17257, or stop by the Harbor Friday or Saturday nights to drop off your payment. We need to receive your payment no later than June 10th. July 1st through 7th – Mid Atlantic District Family Camp at Roxbury Holiness Camp
Many of us will be camping at Roxbury for the district’s family camp this week – enjoying special services in the morning and evening, ice cream island, and the joy of being with friends. A baptism service, ice cream island, pool night at the Chambersburg pool, and activities and programming for the kids, you won’t want to miss it. July 3 – No Bible Study
July 7 – Sunday Morning Service @ Roxbury Holiness Camp
We will still be having our Sunday morning service, but it will be at Roxbury Holiness camp as we worship with our fellow nazarenes from around the district at Family Camp. We’ll see you there! ( 13763 Cumberland Hwy Orrstown, PA 17244 )
Friday, July 12th – Karaoke Night
It’s that time again to show us what you got! Sing your heart out at our Karaoke Night – We’ll have a sign up sheet ready before and during the event, but the songs will start at 8:00 PM and song sign ups will be taken until around 11:00 PM or when demand dies down. The singing will keep going until we’ve finished our list. Please note that we ask you to refrain from songs that have overt alcohol or drug references.
July 22nd – 26th – Teen Camp
Our teens will be going to the district teen camp this week for a time of fun events, but more importantly a deeper engagement with God.
Friday, July 26th – Creative Release Night
Get creative and express yourself! Come out to this event to get in touch with your creative side by doing things like painting, music, writing, knitting, and more! Some limited art supplies will be available as first come, first serve, but if you have something you prefer to work with, please feel free to bring it. Also, kids are definitely welcome, but we do ask that if your kids are there, to please supervise them while they are making their art.
