October Events at Harbor Naz / Harbor Youth

Saturday Nights @ 7:00 – Book Club
Our book club is continuing into October – We’re reading through the book “Love Does” by Bob Goff. Come join us on Saturday nights from 7pm – 8:30pm for a great time of fellowship and discussion. We are reading and discussing three chapters at a time, but even if you missed the beginning, it would be easy to jump in.

Oct. 13 & 20 – “Friday Night Bites” – Home Football Games
This year after every Friday night SASHS home football game, we’ll be hosting “Friday night bites” – a time for highschoolers & families to come back to the Harbor after the game. Friday night Home games in October will be the 13th and 20th.

Oct 21 – Halloween Parade
The Harbor will be creating a float for the Halloween parade this year, so we will need some people who are willing to dress up, have fun and walk with us in the parade! Our theme this year will be “Pirates of the Caribbean”, complete with a pirate ship! So if you are interested in helping build the float or dress up and walk with us, please let pastor Melissa know ASAP.

Oct. 24th – Harbor Youth @ SASHS Volleyball night
October 24th, we’re going to head out together and support some of our own who are on the high school volleyball team. Wear your harbor youth or greyhounds shirts and let’s make some noise and cheer on the lady greyhounds! Game starts at 6:15, and cost to get into the game is $5 for adults and $3 for students.

Oct. 27 – GLOW DANCE
The Harbor is having its annual Glow dance again to help raise funds to continue what we do at the Harbor. So put on your best costume or neon colored  outfit and come on out and shake a leg!

Oct. 29 – Harbor Youth Corn Maze & Movie night
We are going to tentatively (I need to find the best local corn maze first) go try our hand at going through a corn maze and then come back to the harbor to finish out our series on the life of Moses by watching the Prince of Egypt. Come on out, bring a friend, and let’s get lost in some corn!
