September is going to be a month of games at the Harbor! But instead of just having one game night, we’re going to take several Friday nights to focus on certain types of games, including a few tournaments for bragging rights – If you want to sign up for our Rummikub, Uno, or Checkers tournament, we’ll have sign up sheets at the bar on Friday & Saturday nights.
Sept 1 – Tile Games Night
Grab your Rummikub, your Dominoes, your Bananagrams or other tile-based games and meet us at the Harbor – And, sign up for our Rummikub tournament to see who the Harbor’s Rummikub champion!
Sept 2 – New Book Club Begins
We’re starting another book club this fall! We’ll be reading through the book “Love Does” by Bob Goff. Come join us on Saturday nights from 7pm – 8:30pm for a great time of fellowship and discussion. The book club will continue to meet on September 9th, 16th, 23rd, and the 30th, as well as continue into October.
Sept 8 – “Friday Night Bites” – Home Football vs Chambersburg
Sept 10 – “Class 101 – Who We Are” begins
Come and learn what it is to be a Nazarene: who are we, what do we believe, and what does it mean to be a part of this local church and denominational family. This small group will be meeting in Pastor Melissa’s home from 6:30-8 and will run for 6 weeks. If you are interested in joining the church as a member, this class is required, but it also is a good group to be a part of just to understand who we are and what we believe, whether you intend to join or not.
Sept 15 – Card Games Night
Break out the card games and deal us in! Sign up for our Uno tournament to see who the Harbor’s Uno champion!
Sept 22 – Party Games Night
We’re going to be playing some party games this Friday like catch phrase, Apples to Apples, balderdash, or win lose or draw. Invite some friends and come join us!
Sept 29 – Board Games Night
Bring some board games or grab one of ours and set up the pieces – Sign up for our Checkers tournament to see who the Harbor’s Checkers champion!
